Grandparenting at it's best!!

Fun times at the Garlocks! We had baby toys everywhere, bottles, pacifiers, a porta crib, high chair, a swing, baby spinner, and smiling faces for 4 days! What a fun Memorial weekend for us. Brooke and Jason headed off to the Dunes on Thursday and we became the lucky grand parents until today when Brooke picked them up. What a blessing grand children are in our life!

Here's our first few days hanging around the house because of the rain!

A few more pictures from our busy day on Saturday when the sun finally came out!!

Welcome to the Utah Kiddie Olympic's

I'm not sure where Alyssa got her creativity but talk about a fun morning! I can see why the kids love it when she comes to play, stay or hangout. She set up a bed making contest, ring toss, coloring contest, scooter race, tramp contest,
ball kicking race and geez a few more that I can't think of. It was a great Olympics and they all got a GOLD Medal! When the parents are away the Aunt comes to play....well and Ma Deb too!

The Whirlwind of UTAH !!

What a great trip....packed full of so many things. I arrived in time for Alyssa's birthday which is always a great girls night out! I got to watch Shauna teach weight lifting at her RS Enrichment. What a great job and she even inspired her old Mom! Alyssa and I got to rule the roost for a few days while Shauna and Tim headed to St. George. Mothers Day was in there somewhere and I went to Alyssa's Ward where she gave a wonderful talk! I got to see my parents several times and even Jen and Ross who came on the last day, which was just in time for a ride to the airport. Sorry guys....that seems to be the story lately. I do love you and your house!!! There was so much more and never a dull moment.... including the Kiddie Olympic's, which will be the next post!!!

Happy Birthday Alyssa!!!

Where does the time go? Even though it seems like yesterday, 24 Years ago this beautiful baby girl arrived on a Sunny Day in May! She didn't make her entrance into this world very easy, matter of fact she was a pretty rugged labor and delivery! But over the years she has proved to be a special baby, little girl, young adult and now and beautiful young women! What a wonderful daughter, sister, sister-in-law, Aunt, best friend too many, and an inspiration to so many life's she touches each day!
What a cute little munchkin!!!

It wouldn't be a celebration if we didn't make our Birthday outing to Red Robin in Provo! Happy 24th Birthday KISS ! !
