30 Little Moments *Day 12*

The long awaited phone call came this morning, which now has been named the dreaded phone call. I have pain in my knee for a reason due to a pretty severe torn meniscus. The Surgeon's Office said "didn't you have that injury before and we repaired it"! Well, why tear it just once, the second time has got to be better! And that it is. Hopefully the doctor's can put my knee back together soon and I'll be out and about in no time! I might just have to slow down and maybe live in a padded bubble or I could sit in my rocking chair and knit for the rest of my days! I'm so sad....SKI SEASON IS OUT before I even hit the slopes!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RUTH ! !

It was great to have pizza and rootbeer floats at Rachael and Matt's float home down on the Columbia River and celebrate Ruth's birthday. They have the greatest home ever down there right on the water. Love it and love to visit and see all their building talents at work.

Ice Cream *You scream* We all scream for Ice Cream!!

What a great way to spend a Sunday Evening! It's always fun to share the evening with some of our Ward Members as we eat, visit and get to know each other a little better! Great times....great Ice cream...can't get much better than that!

The little Moments in Life

I have been inspired or should I say challenged by my daughter Shauna, who was inspired by someone else, to capture the tiny every day moments in my day. Many days go by and I don't think that anything important has happened and worth taking a picture of. So now the real challenge begins because I'm not super creative, or clever, or artistic and definitly not a great photographer. As I join this journey for the next 30 days I look forward to capturing new moments and memories and sharing them with you. Anyone else up to the Challenge?

30 Little Moments * Day 1*
You know the saying "They're BACK!! ". A lot of knitting coming my way!

Viva Las Vegas!!!!

What a great get away.....and the Bank even paid! When the Bank treats Rick decides the Bank is a great place to work! We lived it up almost like the Rich and Famous on the 40th floor of the Venetian. Our suite was beautiful, the view was incredible and as usual it went way too fast. Just a few pictures to share our 3 day life style and that doesn't mean the "food lifestyle!"... We really blew it and ate like there was no tomorrow!

Tennis at it's Best!!!

What a fun day and a great match to watch!!! Adam, my nephew plays on the tennis team at Portland State University. I thought it would be fun to go and watch him slam the ball around. Boy did I get a show!!! He slammed and slammed. Those tennnis balls can really come flying fast across the net. It was great fun and even a little tense at times to watch. The highlight of the match on Saturday was Deneen and Andrew were there. It was just like the good old days watching our kids play sports. It was really fun to catch up and visit in between the matches.

The Prophet

I love this picture of our Prophet. What an amazing man. He will be remember for many years to come. He had so many great attributes and served the Lord faithfully his entire life. He was so kind, caring, loving and had a great sense of humor along with his enduring dedicated. He will be missed but aren't we so blessed to know that we now have another great Prophet to lead, guide and direct our Church through inspiration.

Thank you to our Ward Friends that came and watched the Funeral that morning. It always brightens our day to have you in our life. Thank You for all you do.
